The New Face of Employment

The faster employees realize the value in providing their staff the ability woek remotely, the faster the organization will benefit from the cost savings.

With 72% of the workforce to be remote in the next 24 months, more and more emphasis will be on having the proper backend infrastructure available to support the remote worker. Cloud, data centers are all going to be designed to allow for easy scalability.

But of course you can provide the technology but if you don't have a strong security policy, and measures put in place, you will be asking for trouble. Take the time to have your Director of IT or IT manager review your security policies, if they seem pretty weak, might be time to update them that can meet current requirements and future needs.

Now you are asking where are the cost savings I mentioned earliwr... If you logically think about it, with the ability to provide workers remote abilities to work, you no longer need to rent large spaces to house all of these employees, which equals cost savings. If the average rent of office space is based upon per sqft, the cost savings will add up quickly. Also with employees working where they feel comfortable, they will be more productive and a lot happier. Happy employees also means less sick time taken and less requirement with expected vacation time.

As a technical consultant and previous Director of IT I have examed all of these stats and can easily tailor roadmaps for your business that will help you get to a point where your business no longer relies on the tradition business model.
