DR plans

Why a proper DR plan is important...

Many of us most likely don't have a DR plan when it comes to our data. Weather if the data is personal or business. Even if you do have a DR plan, have you tested this plan quarterly? Having a plan is one thing, but testing the plan is completely different story.

When it comes to your data, test your plans and revise ensuring no matter what, you are prepared. Remember doing earthquake drills fire or tornado drills in school, same thing here. The more you practice the better you are at it, less chances of failing and losing something important.

Talk to your consultants, your IT department and ensure you have a DR plan. Define your disasters to make your life easier when it comes to playbooks.
